Volunteers Needed! 3rd Annual ECA Invitational Cross Country Meet

We are hosting the 3rd Annual ECA Invitational Cross Country Meet on Tuesday, September 5th here on our ECA campus. We are looking for several volunteers, beginning as early as 3:30 PM, to help make this event a success. The Cross Country Meet begins at 5:00PM.

Students who volunteer for this event will receive community service hours for the time they helped. Below is a list of volunteer duties that we will need help covering during the event.

  • Course Volunteers (12 needed): Arrival time at 4:00PM
    Help keep track of the race time after the starter gun has gone off and stated the time as runners are passing the mile marks.  Also, to help keep athletes on the right path.

  • Coaches Hospitality Tent Volunteers (4 needed): Arrival Time 4:30PM
    In charge of getting the coaches their coaches packets and awards at the end of the night. Assist coaches with any other needs they may have.

  • Finish Line Volunteers (6-8 needed):  Arrival Time 4:00PM
    Help athletes as they exit the race, making sure they are moving towards the tents.

  • Starting Line Volunteers (4-6 needed):  Arrival Time 4:00PM
    Help keep the starting line area clear after the race begins.

  • Parking Lot Volunteers (6-8 needed): Arrival Time 3:30PM 
    Some will take parking admission and some will be making sure we have parking spots available.

  • Concession Stand Volunteers (4-5 needed): Arrival Time: 4:00PM
